Got that Crimson flag flapping in the wind yet? After all it’s Father’s Day tomorrow. Have a good one. :D

Happy Father's Day to you as well. I'll give the neighborhood a break for a while on the A flag.

Eight years ago, I had a respiratory issue called Pneumonitis. It blocked the membranes in the lungs from doing the gas exchange to get oxygen into red blood cells. I was in the hospital for a week, on oxygen, and respiratory therapy every 6 hours. It did clear up though.
Thank you, Glenn. It’s a beautiful sunny day here, and I hope you have the same. :D Sorry to hear of your Pneumonitis. I recall you had a problem, but I didn’t know or missed what it was, and I am glad to hear it worked out to be best for you and yours. That's terrific my friend. When I was a little tyke I had pneumonia (and have had a lesser form and bronchitis since), and I was in an oxygen tent. Crappy way to camp, huh. Without boring you and everyone else, my biggest concern is misdiagnosis (as I have experienced about ten years ago) having been told that I had a life threatening disease (and that I needed to get my house in order) by a doctor who somehow vacated the territory. That was an experience, and, only by luck, was the wrong medication and whatnot averted. Unfortunately, today’s medication is a commercial that is often a misdirected household item.
A strange change for me since I was the guy who used to walk past the aspirin bottle and pick up the cigarettes at the end of the line. Gave that up 30 years ago. They say it takes 1 year for every 12 smoked for your lungs to settle down, and return to their best possible state in comparison.

I have a cousin who has just been prescribed marijuana for severe arthritis. I’m not looking for a tie dye shirt, but ya never know since it’s going legal next month. Maybe, psychedelic music will make a full return. :P Legalization could have an impact on explaining the sudden rise in folkies and acoustic sales.

Meanwhile, I’ll wish you many Jello days ahead. Now that’s the good stuff. :D

Time to get outdoors and to enjoy a beautiful

Good Morning!

Thanks FSB. My son is doing better but he has a new problem. On top of his asthma and neuropathy, he has a problem with his red blood cells being unable to carry the proper amount of oxygen with them through his body. More tests coming this week.

Good luck with your stress test. I can't do the treadmill so mine induced chemically. Can you do the treadmill? Either way, I'm sure you'll pass with an A+. :)
Thanks, Marky. Glad the first hurdle is less difficult, but that sucks about the oxygen. Perhaps, it’s temporarily related to the first problem and they’ll nail it? Definitely sucks though. I can relate a little with the breathing issue, as I just had trouble making it up the stairs, and I wasn’t active at all. In fact.I was sitting at the PC for a few hours. But, that huffin’ and puffin’ wasn’t going to stop me from watching the start of my team playing ball. :P I’m connected to two puffers, but one is now on standby because together 4 times a day they were more of a problem than a help. I should be able to test on the treadmill, but this is all new for me so I’ll see. Your chemical solution must be an awkward alternative. Is that with or without the treadmill? I know I’m not lined up for a shot, but Mrs.FSB got an injection on the treadmill after she failed the first time around. She thankfully checked out fine overall though. Mine is to rule out or define a cardiac issue, and/or a lung issue or whatever they throw at me. It seems combo problems are the latest trend. I turned 70, immediately caught the flu, and here I am. The music gods must be punishing me for my playing and even more likely my singing (which doesn’t compare to my hollaring if they cut me).
I just keep looking forward to the next day, and those that follow. Throw in a good beverage, ice cream or Jello and I’m good to go. :D
I know this is a rough time for you and your son who have seen some rocky moments, Marky. I’m pulling for you both that the road ahead will smooth out.

Tell your son the oxygen’s on it’s way, and give him our best.

By the way. The birch tree is gone and I can’t wait to show the neighbours it’s replacement when they wake up tomorrow.

Now THAT will be a Good Morning!

Thanks for your support, FSB. My son is breathing better today and he made me breakfast and gave me four presents and a beautiful card for Father's Day so life is good. :D When I was able to do the treadmill, I was given an injection of Thallium. A Thallium Scan is a method of examining the heart to obtain information about the blood supply to the heart muscle. In the scan, special cameras take a series of pictures of the heart. Radioactive sestamibi is injected into the bloodstream and serves as a tracer. This is probably what Mrs. FSB had. Nowadays, I just lay down and they shoot me up with something that raises my heart rate substantially. It feels very weird but mot too bad.
I wish you the very best on your upcoming test but, if they do find something it's better to know about it before something bad happens. Then they can fix you up again. :D BTW - I love the replacement for your birch tree.

The right lung issue I had last year with my 5th rib removed, they fixed what was wrong. The thing that is kinda' strange, none of the doctors know why it all happened in the first place. I'm up walking around from it, so I'm not complaining.

I remember that from last year. I'm getting used to doctors telling me that they don't know the cause/s of my maladys. I don't think that's good but usually they can help with my signs and symptoms so it's something.

Keep up the good work!

Glad to hear life is good for you and better for your son, Marky. Looks like it was a great Father’s Day. :D Thallium for testing? That should make one light up in the dark. Radioactive sestamibi added to the mix will give it the Rolex touch. (When I was 8 I had a chocolate Barium jumbo milkshake that tasted like chalk and the shine didn’t fade for years). I think I was given fake news the other day that I wasn’t scheduled for injection because I was told not to eat this or drink that. So I’m wise to them. So thanks, for the details about your experience, the heads up, and confidence building, Marky

Now where’s my 40' 3,200lb Saguaro? ROTFL

I remember that, Glenn and I couldn’t be happier knowing things worked out in your favour. No doubt that was a rough haul. Definitely worth a big bowl of Jello.

I know there are quite a few here in the Forum who have taken on challenges of their own, and I’d like to applaud them as well at this time.

Interesting that we find issues
treated without knowing or speaking of the cause or malady. I looked up the causes for burning lungs on a very reputable website and a list of 66 possibilities came up. Drug companies have been criticised for addressing and creating names for symptoms rather than diseases or other ailments. That seems to be trending, and becoming more acceptable now I think - even in the doctor patient arena. Diseases are even more fragmented with sub categories that are often misunderstood or confusing.

I guess it comes down to no news is good news. Maybe yes, maybe no. However, every morning that I wake up is one more for me to enjoy and share to the fullest whether it’s more or less, and it’s always great to hear from and share with you all. :D
So a big thanks,
Keep on keepin’ on

Best,
FSB

Holey Smoley! 101°! That’s like living in two 50° zones wrapped into one. You’re a cool guy, Mike so I wouldn’t sweat it much.
Good sunny Morning gang.

 Those things are protected in AZ. It's not like we don't have a million of them. You'd think they would let just one go, but nope.

 Well, I was going to get me a horse, grab a posse, come down there to straighten out the policy makers. and bring back my cactus in a buckboard.

Unfortunately, Mrs. FSB won’t let me have one. I wear the pants in the house, but she wears the boots!
Thanks, for the great idea all the same, Marky. :D

Well, I guess you could say early or in my case late as I my head down to close my eyes for sleep. Kinda funny how one says “Good Night” when it’s technically morning. :P
Either way, Paul
Have a good one, bro’.
