Thanks, although truth be told, I'm more likely to plug in to a Deluxe Reverb now. Lower power and much lighter weight are more appealing the older I get but it's good to have a Twin around the old homestead just in case. :)

I can understand the loud and thin thing. The JCM's are very different from the JTM and all the JMP's aside from the JMP2203.
They are pretty thin, until you really wind them up, particularly with the presence knob anywhere above zero. Until you hit 7 on the volume and max the gain.
The older non master volumes don't suffer so bad
