Today I got this Taylor 416e. This is number 5. GS Mini, 412r, 410r, 416e and a 355 Jumbo 12 string. I might need to check into Hazelton for TGA (Taylor Guitar Addiction).ImageImageImageImageImage

OK, you can stop now.
You are officially the Taylor king of the forum.
Nice little stable.
I have three but one is for sale.
Could be back to two any day now.

Congrats BTW...

Actually, I've been thinking of selling the GS mini and/or the 12 string to buy a AER acoustic amp, so there would be one or two less guitars to feed.

While searching for an accurate pro grade and all-size-gig worthy acoustic amplifier don't forget to consider the Ultrasound Pro250. Ultrasound has their own website but they are a division of Dean Markley. The Markleys are still very accurate and could be considered a "reference" amplifier but just a tiny little bit less sterile, something AER is accused of from time to time. It's a matter of taste. Some people value accuracy at any cost. Personally, I prefer the added warmth of a 12AX7 in the preamp stage. Adding a tube or two also seems to aid in feedback suppression, a typical issue amplifying acoustic guitars. I've always just assumed the tubes achieve this by introducing a little bit of compression to the dynamic range. I find its just a little smoother sound. That takes you in a whole different direction though. For straight S/S, if it were me, I'd be looking at Ultrasound.

Food for thought .. just in case you welcome a different perspective.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will check them out. Right now the AER is what I'm looking at because it is the most natural acoustic sounding amp I have heard, but will give the ultra-sound a look/hear.

Sold the baritone last night.
Back to two Taylors.
No danger of me usurping your #1 position anytime soon.

Gorgeous guitar Minnesotastrats! I am jealous, only having 3 Taylors myself.... but I am eyeing a 4th, a 610e... 8)

Have you checked out a Rivera Acoustic amp? I have the Sedona Lite 55, and am thrilled with it.

Thank you, Do you like the tone of the maple body 610e. I find it a bit bright, but I'm use to rosewood. The Rivera amp is fantastic but more than I want to pay or can afford. I'm thinking about the fender Pro 200. they sound good to me. Also considering a Ultrasound. :)

Yes, I want something with a little different sound than the ones that I have. I think that the newer 600 series have a bit more balanced sound, and I want a little more brightness for my next one.

The maple is not for me, but, man is that thing beautiful. I love the stained tiger maple!
