There's a reason people don't use a Public Defender if they don't have to... !!

A cop has the authority to search someone if they suspect that person is a criminal, or to ensure their own safety such as searching for weapons, even if it's just to put you into the back of the squad car while they run your identity.

Your 'rights' to deny the search kick-in if evidence discovered therein is introduced in a court proceeding.

I don't know your Public Defender friend, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume he didn't graduate '$@!' Laude from Law School.

A good rule of thumb to follow in interacting with a Police Officer is to consider it akin to having Sex with a Gorilla... You stop when the Gorilla says so...

cheers!

When you acquisce to unconstitutional conduct (just because it's the government doing it) you slap every single soldier who fought and died for our freedoms.....not to mention your own.

Unless you served, and I mean served as in combatant or forward-deployed (not some CWO at the Supply Depot back at Subic), STFU about what servicemen (sic. soldiers) did, or did not, fight and die for... you have absolutely NO IDEA !

We had an OIS here in Minnesota a week back where a Black male was shot by the Police during a traffic stop. The incident is still under investigation. No conclusion or indictments have been made, but several eye-witnesses have either recanted their original stories or evidence to the contrary has surfaced.

Yet the Press and even our Governor have incited civil protests including blocking off an Interstate and injuring a responder by dropping a concrete block off an overpass, hitting him and fracturing his spine. There is now an encampment outside the Governor's Residence, blocking a major thoroughfare, going on 24 hrs. about 1.5 mi. from my home.

Every news shot shows fewer than a half-dozen Blacks (usually only 2 or 3). The majority of those protesting are Eco-vacationing, Birkenstock-shod, Volvo-driving affluent White Liberals who weren't around to March in the '60's or those who want to recapture their youth. From your diatribes so far, I suspect you may belong to such a group.

So, you've made your position clear, no need to keep repeating yourself.

Cheers!

+1,000,000!

I can say with unequivocal certainty that I did not serve for twenty-two years to protect the right of some ne'er-do-well punk to bad-mouth a system and a culture that has delivered more charity and assistance to those in need (both around the world and here at home) than every other government on earth combined. Should you as the "squeaky wheel" end up greased, I won't shed a tear.

You supposedly served to protect freedom...did you?
My freedom is to point out that CopSuckers like you and Ltn worship law enforcement simply because they are "government"....and have'nt screwed with you YET.
And as far as badmouthing the system...your strawman argument fails there too.
My issue is with the justice system...NOT the whole system.
You sit there like the coward you've always been and call me a punk from long distance. HAH!
You fat phuck....you would'nt dare say it to anyone's face, let alone mine.

First of all...I won't shut up just because you say so.
I've been a staunch republican all my life until I became a victim of the same system that the blacks FOR GOOD REASON do not trust. And btw, I'm not a democrat either. These are sucker games.
Until YOU experience the reality of what's really going on with law enforcement, and the passes constanly being given to them by our rigged courts.......and bring a suit all the way to SCOTUS ....AND currently through the Pa Superior court....and further if necessary, then YOU STFU!
Because you dont know squat.

I can't speak for those guys, but I've experienced it first hand. I still don't think it's ok to go out shooting cops because of it. You are obviously young and immature, or just one of those "angry" people who are going to right all the wrongs in this world.

Image
Either way, not the kind of person I choose to associate with. I think it's time for everyone to STFU, myself included.

Protest? These days protests are staged and funded by union organizers, think our president and his masters at SEIU as well as other union troublemakers and international groups, the muslim brotherhood and all of it's tentacles, the Saudi's and others we don't know about. What hillary and barack did across egypt, libya, iraq and syria, ie: fomenting trouble to usurp local governments, those people are doing it here now. As far as the empty headed young americans protesting right alongside the criminal element, thank our education system.

that should cover it, WTF !

56 isn't young.
I never said it was ok to shoot innocent cops......only that there is a REASON it's happening.
Maybe once you spend 20 plus big ones so far attempting to obtain justice from a rigged system, YOU might be a tad angry too.
Or.......maybe you'd just bend over and take it with a smile.

Agree with everything you say.
Add the police unions in that.

Do cops who pull this crap deserve death?
Yep. They are traitors to our constitution
and are worse than an actual criminal...because they are supposed to UPHOLD the law, not break it for a friend in their circle.

Brush up on your reading comprehension.
I SAID in effect.... "you would also want to kill a cop who violated YOUR rights.
NOT its ok to kill all cops.
Fail.
