Jiminyfuckingcricket, it's Nick!

What's up!

I got it all ripped apart, renutted, and re strung. Plays fu.ck¡ng terribly now, sounds awesome though. I have to go through the trouble of adjusting the pitch on the neck, probably my least favorite thing about buying a new guitar.

Doesn't look so bad all strung up, I may keep the look as is and let it rot.

Definite keep mate. It looks great.
Maybe when/if you get round to it, rewind them pickups hotter, yourself.

On a personal note, hows the family?

Well, back in the day there was no consistency in manufacturing of these things. From playing it for a bit, they're a lot meatier than I expected. I think I'll keep em the way they are, and one day when the body no longer holds its shape I'll find or make a new body and transplant the electronics in tact.

We're doing alright I guess. We've moved into a larger dwelling, today is my last day at my sh¡t job, I'm starting a slot as a Diesel Mechanic Apprentice on Monday. My daughter is 8 months old now and she's almost walking. She really enjoys falafel and curry surprisingly. Asian grandma is probably to blame, she feeds her sticky rice and the like. We have a rule of "Don't feed table scraps to the baby" in our house.

How is that possible? It was just the other day that you told us you were going to be a father!

Arth'
James and I were acquainted on Facebook. However August last year I lost my account, James had already said to me then that they were expecting a baby girl.

Pretty cool. 8) For $12, you got a hell of a deal, there.

Gonna need a little more TLC than I was hoping, but for now it holds only one kind of custom tuning that sounds cool as hell with the Q Tron.

Drop D with the 3 non wounds tuned to the same pitch.

I think I'll get a cheapo LP type bridge and a Bigsby Knockoff and call it a day.

That's almost the tuning of the Ostrich guitar, which was used in the Velvet Underground. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostrich_guitar Lou Reed tuned all of the strings to either E or D. 8)
