Good morning,

As some of you might have heard Richmond, Virginia got slammed by a bad storm last week Thursday evening, June 16th. It was WICKED!! Trees down, power lines down, cable down, landline phones down, etc...

My wife and I survived without killing each other for these past few days with no TV, no internet, no anything. She read books or fiddled around with an old school Nintendo DS game that still worked after all these years. Me? I played every acoustic song that I knew, on 6 string, 12 string, and on mandolin.

Power, cable, and phones, all came up sometime yesterday! Woo-hoo... I'm back!!

Better get down to the Wynn-Dixie so you can restock the fridge and freezer with beer and microwave pizza.

Glad to hear things are returning to normalcy.

Power out for a couple days and you and the wife decide to read books, play Nintendo and guitar? Got to call that a serious opportunity missed!!!

Glad all is back to normal though.

LOL... I probably drove her crazy too much for anything to "happen" if you get my drift... Besides, at our age, she's now got that menopause thing going on and it's driving ME crazy... I'm hot, I'm cold, I'm hot, I'm cold, get away from me... Leave me alone... *sigh*

First and foremost, I'm happy to hear you survived the storm. Second . . . I've got news for you, Butch. Even if the flashes cease they'll find a way to use them as an excuse when appropriate. Get a fan and a portable heater.

LOL... I've threatened to pull the little rollaway cot into my music room and sleep in there, only to have her call my bluff by saying, "...Fine!"

Somebody shoot me.

Glad that all is well and safe now. I have a friend in Oklahoma and he
tells me about his "fraidy hole" that they have for the tornados. Ya don't
mess with Mother Nature.
