Enjoyed that link, Mud. 2016 has been a crazy year with many who made a difference in our life whether in a small way or big way. Bob Krasnow was a change maker to be sure. May he rest in peace.

I'm guessing the bouncing balls on some of the 51 photos are either tracking us or preventing copyright infringement. Anyone know the answer?

George Michael? Man oh man that is going to be some gathering amongst the musicians who left us in 2016.

6 more days before this list expires. Here's hoping no more will be added; but, I wouldn't bet on it.

Here's hoping the list is much shorter in 2017.

I'm telling you, there's one hell of a concert lineup in the ether. :(

Thanks, Mike for the Alphonse links.

As a drummer and, along with embracing rock, as a jazz fan I can say that AM was one fine example of technical and improvisational expertise that he owned. If you played with him . . . you had better be good or he could grab the audience's attention away from you quickly. That, however, wasn't his style, and the greats were always better because of him.

Life is not fair at times; but, life gives us wonderful times and pleasures to behold. Alphonse Mouzon did that for us. He will be sadly missed.
