Seems like a recipe for disaster. I'd consider buying a ticket for a show for curiosity's sake, but I'd be too worried Axl would be three hours late or not show up at all.

I am still shocked that Angus and company thought this was a good idea.

Despite how much I like the Appetite for Destruction album, I've never been fond of anything else put out w/Axl. And he has quite the history of being difficult to work with and unreliable. Seems there had to be better choices available to them.

He sounds fine. Besides, it's only a few shows to finish the tour.

I wouldn't worry too much about him wandering off and not showing up for the gig with that broken leg of his. I'd imagine that giant wheelchair he's sitting in onstage makes him a lot more manageable. GnR should've thought of that years ago.

Agreed... But the Hitler parody going into a tirade as he's told of the substitution is HILARIOUS !!

Especially love it when the one fraulein says to the other: "Don' vorry mine dear.... Juztin Biebeur von' zing for ACDC. He'll zoon be forgotten..."

Funny Stuff... !!

Cheers!

When Angus came out explaining that they had to go forward due to legal/financial reasons, I think I believe him. He said there were so many commitments and contracts made that backing out becomes a financial and legal nightmare. It actually sounds reasonable. Axl needs to get up from that throne, though, before I am buying a ticket ... for this new AC/DC or GnR ...

OK, I watched some videos.

It wasn't bad. It certainly wasn't great, either.

It sounded like an Axl Rose imitator singing with a great AC/DC tribute band.

I wouldn't buy a ticket.

I can't think of any other known vocalist that would be a better fit. I think he's a step back in the direction of Bon, but he still has the range to cover Brian's stuff too. Bring it on.

Some good news for Brian Johnson. http://www.billboard.com/articles/colum ... en-ambrose I hope this works for him, and anyone else that has this issue.
