Went to 2 yard sales. Nothing outstanding was found.

Slept in until 9 when a text came in and roused me from a sweet dream involving some lovely thing.
Hmmm, maybe that's better left undescribed on this forum.
Put the Moka on the stove and sipping a strong Euro-style coffee while frying up my only greasy breakfast of the week.
Thick cut bacon and eggs. It's my fav breaky of all time but it's not good for me so I only indulge once a week at the most.
Soon, I will be cruising the news sites for news about the situation up at Fort Crack.
Will def play one of my Taylors before noon as I always do on the weekends.
Then it will be yard work and then on to a birthday party which will feature the live music of a Vancouver band.
Either The Odds or 54-40. Can't remember.

The 91 cm sales seldom have much.

I stopped at a tag sale the other day. They had a 4x12 Marshall cab there, but it was water damaged, lacked all the speakers, and still they wanted $50 for it. Nah.
And harmonicas. Who the hell wants to buy a harmonica filled with the spit of strangers? If they're expensive ones where the reeds can be changed and the rest autoclaved, maybe. But not the run-of-the-mill set of six for $20 when new. Some things should just be thrown away.

This morning, I had to take my aging dog to the vet, as she could hardly stand up. They put her on arthritis medicine; let's hope it helps. Someone needs to keep me safe from the squirrels and mailmen.

This morning I went to bed and woke up around 4 PM. Rock and Roll!!! :P Actually, it's just the schedule I'm on right now. Sometimes, I do miss getting up in the morning, though.

The birthday party was an absolute blast.
I got to stand 3 feet away from The Odds while they played the gig in the birthday girl's living room.
Such down to earth guys.
Had a couple of pleasant conversations with Doug Elliot.
That's him touching his nose to my iPhone.
I'm a little tired today as I didn't get home until well after 4 AM but thankfully not all that hung over, just a little.

The Odds are great. Saw them in the mid-90s opening for Warren Zevon; after their set, they came back...as Zevon's backing band. Amazing show.

Saturday the 11th June 2016. Good morning. Tea and toast, glancing at the stack of papers on my desk, doing laundry, it is going to be 90 again today. Have a great weekend everybody. :D

Gud Mornin' All.

Great post, Matt. Enjoyed The Odds. Now that looked like a great party. :P
At the moment I'm up ODing on Jelly Beans because my dietician told me and Mrs. FSB they qualify for my good list. Yeah right, as if I needed an excuse to indulge.
Meanwhile, I'm watching a show about a woman's rebuilt 1980 Chev' Monza breaking 10 seconds on the strip.

Ciao
FSB

Good morning, Forumites and Forumettes!

I started the day with breakfast on Hollywood Beach. The sun was rising in the sky, the ocean was calm. A paddleboarder made his way slowly near the shore. Palm trees rustled slightly in the light seabreeze that was blowing onshore.

Of course, tomorrow is Monday. :(
