Darryl, thanks for posting, very informative. I have always wanted to know how guitar strings were made and about mixing different gauges instead of using the standard right out of the package.

I really enjoyed that, it was excellent! I like Rob's videos anyway, but this maybe the best one yet.

I use XL110s all the time, minor exception that I've recently been riding the Ernie Ball Cobalts (on a few of my Gibsons and I like them)... but now I'm inspired to give these NY XLs a try.
