dude get appetite for destruction by guns n roses. one of the best albums ever, it knocked michael jackson of the top of the charts. it s what inspired me to start playing guitar. it's just a good all around album not a bad song on it.

So I'm a bit late, but check out Earl Greyhound.

Saw them open for Chris Cornell about a year ago, their Album is great!

Metallica's album Metallica, or The Black Album, has some pretty awesome music on it...

I'd have to say Pantera's "Vulgar Display of Power" album. Its got some language in it, but the riffs are monstrous. R.I.P Dimebag Darrell.

Also, Pearl Jam's album "Pearl Jam" (has a fruit on the album cover) was pretty decent, I would also recommend Metallica's "Master of Puppets" or Molly Hatchet's "Greatest Hits" album (I know I know, its Southern Rock. But MH is awesome).

EDIT: Also, if you like glam-metal, I would also suggest Slaughter's "Stick It To Ya" album. Its got a few more love songs than it needs, but its actually a pretty decent album with some fairly wild riffs.
