I'm looking for a good CD to purchase. Im thinking of Iron Maiden of anything along those lines. (Guns N' Roses, Metallica) What would you recommend?

Maybe i can help you with some recommendations too.

Are you looking to purchase the cds to learn some of the music or is it just your preferred listening style?

Queensrych (older material) is great.

DIO is heavy.

Tesla also fits with this style as well.

Muse - Origin of Symmetry

It's a brilliant balance of extremely heavy riffs, beautiful piano lines, and amazingly produced songs.

They only had a couple of releases, but Psycho Motel, formed by Iron Maiden guitarist, Adrian Smith, has some songs you might like.

Google progressive rock bands and you'll find some others too probably.

I have the Iron Maiden albums (Power slave) and ( Somewhere in Time) they are very good albums from the 80's.
