Brad:

1) I used iPhone5s, iOS Version 9.3.1 (13E238):
Type fenderconnect.com into Safari's search bar. Hit search. This takes you to the delinquent site I posted. I did not add www. or http//www. It will automatically complete the search with http//www.fenderconnect.com.

It appears to be delinquent and the linked url appears to be listed as http//www.fenderconnect.com while the page has a title Fenderconnect.com. It looks to be a list of options for money transfers and phone options to be used with prison offenders.

Also, when fenderconnect.com is typed into the Safari search bar as above, There are similar Fenderconnect and OffenderConnect.com browser (DuckDuckGo on this case) listings below the Safari search bar (when search bar had either fenderconnect or Fenderconnect entered in the Safari search bar) and these seem to be similar delinquent content links, but I can't say if there is a direct relationship throughout only that they appear wrong and/or not Fender related

To confirm that my iPhone was not a cache or other problem, I also have an older iPod Version 4.2.1 (8C148) and it too works the same way with the Safari link.

Without the PC and properties feature, I hope this gets you in the right direction, Brad.

This is what I'm trying to follow, though - why are you trying to visit "fenderconnect.com"? As you're discovering, that is not a site we own / administer. Is something in this beta test program guiding you to visit that URL? That's what I'm trying to gather so I can relate it to the folks conducting this particular program in the event it's a boo-boo (that's a technical term :-) ) on their end.

Hi, Brad. I just reposted a portion of my earlier answer, so to be brief, no - the beta test program is not directly involved.

I simply did a quick Fender Connect search as described to see if anything would come up for general interest since, although, I would like to have participated in the beta testing, but can't for the moment, I thought, perhaps, someone might have discussed or commented more or less details on the beta program aside from participation. The fenderconnect.com connection more or less presented itself as just one random browser search choice available per se. No assumption was made that those searches were or were not affiliated with Fender as they were likely to be revealed accordingly.

It would appear that the name Fender Connect and this other website found in name and, perhaps, connection could be an issue or concern now or in the future? If not great. If so, there ya go. :D
Knowing how Fender Digital is positioning itself, and having seen other sites related to the true Fender Connect, hopefully, these details meet the clarification you require, Brad.

Cheers!

Ah, I see ... thanks for explaining! Yeah, we do own a TON of domain names but certainly not all of 'em out there.

You're welcome. Brad. Sorry, for any confusion. I'm not sure it would make life easier if you did own them all.
