First, make sure your pic is an appropriate size for posting to the forum.
Really large pix need to be resized down so they will fit on the screen.
This is a courtesy to the other forum members.

Upload your pic to Photobucket.
Copy the "IMG" link from your Photobucket pic using the "Share" option.
Paste the copied link into post dialogue box.
Preview to make sure it's right.
Post.

Seems that Photobucket is now a "pay to play" image hosting site and
I'm finding way too many pop-ups and malware when using that site.

Besides the usuals (Flickr, Imgur, etc) what other GOOD image hosting
sites are you all using these days?

I'm noticing no issues with Photobucket.
I'm using Safari, though.
With Pop-up Blocking turned on.
I think you told me you had Mercury?
Or maybe something else?

I'm using Firefox on Mac and Windows10 - migrating some things from
one to another-Postimage.org seems fine....so far.

Looking for more/other alternatives.

In a web search for "free image hosting" there were many hits but only some
were free. Many offer a free 30 days then pay.

I did find Image Safe which seems like a nice alternative.

If you try any new ones, please let us know.
I had found in the past that were are a whole lot of sites that will host images for free but remote linking was not allowed.
Maybe that's all changed now and more sites allow it but that's the reason I ended up with Photobucket.

Maybe some others will chime in with sites that allow hosting AND linking.

Many if not most ISPs will have a small web area for each customer, where they can post pics and other stuff, and link directly.

Mine did away with it. :(

Shutterfly claims they may start hosting with direct linking.

That seems to work too ... for those who use FB, that is.
Thanks for sharing, Nik.

That's not my dog. That's just a random image that I shared once because I found it funny the dog trying to bite the rainbow.

This fella died march 2015

Image

And we got Tourette's Dog (malamute) in April (3months old in this picture)

Image

Considering his future with us. He's just tried to bite me, nastily. The only mitigating factor is that he's 6 months old now
