In the YouTube video "Series of Dreams", Bob Dlyan (towards the end) is playing a very nice guitar I for the life of me can't identify. It has a fish hook head with four tuners on top, two on the bottom. It also has four pickups. Does anyone know what it is? Never seen one like it.

Teisco sure knew how to build them back then. Silver seersucker pickguard and all.

My first guitar back in '65 was two-pickup Teisco "tulip" in sunburst.

Made by Kawai and rebranded Teisco or Silvertone, I believe?
Here's another variety, played by Hound Dog Taylor:

Thanks everyone! I really like the looks, wish they were readily available in mint condition.

Sometimes you can find them at Reverb.com in excellent condition. Search for both Silvertone, Teisco and Kawai.

If you like the 4-pickup concept, DiPinto has a current model.

If you like the looks, but not necessarily 4 pickups, Reverend and Eastwood have current models with 60s retro looks. Reverend guitars are actually pretty decent - far more so than the Teiscos of yore.

I use to have the DiPinto great guitar.

Eastwood definitely has some funky looking, affordable guitars, especially under the Airline brand.

Airline was the brand name given to instruments made for and sold by Montgomery-Wards, much like the Silvertone line sold by Sears & Roebuck.
