Happy TI Day, Matt!
Impressive list, for sure.
I noticed you didn't mention Lubbock native, Natalie Maines.

Good singer, great songwriter. Kinda cute. I don't "do" politics, so it wasn't a "statement" that I didn't include her.

I should have put her father, Lloyd Maines, in the list...great steel player, amazing producer, killer studio engineer.

And a happy Texas Independence Day to all a y'all too. I'm celebrating it properly, with a Shiner. ;)

(And dang, that's quite a formidable list to be included on! We sure have some great musicians here.)

Tucked in between Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon?
And only a couple names behind Doyle # 2?
Indeed.

It's a well-deserved inclusion--you're quite an artist, and all of us Texians and Fender Forumites are proud to call you "Homegirl"...

I think she is...if she's not, she's an adopted Texas, because of her long tenure in Austin.
