Meh wait till you've rushed off stage at 5 minutes to midnight on the 31st of December. Desperate to get off and make room for the people doing the new year celebration thing.
Forgot you're still plugged into your board. As you're falling, holding two guitars make the decision of which to break.

I did the same thing with a Guild bass uuuugggg!

So in the middle of falling, you decide the LP is the one to break?

I sure hope you weren't holding a Telecaster in your other hand ...
LP (esp. a '72!) touching ground = Ouch!
Tele, smacking into the ground with guitarist and LP on top of it = check the tuning.

A few weeks ago, I fell on my way back from a jam, and landed on my shoulder. X-ray of the humerus not too dissimilar to the above pic. But the Tele is fine! :D
I'm more worried about my SG breaking one day. Not only is the headstock at more of an angle, but the entire neck tilts backwards too. And guitars don't heal.

It had already broke once, I do lots of headstock repairs for other people (currently have 3 sat here waiting till I can be bothered to mix some glue).
The other guitar was an LP Jr doublecut. One of Six. Gibson prize that they did for the release of the film Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging. A crap kids film that featured a band covering The Buzzcocks Ever fallen in love. Gibson got the product placement on the film. Did 6 LP Jr's as competition prizes. It had all this horrible decal over it which the previous owner took off. Then sold the guitar to me for £400.
