That was totally incompetence. I think that order was doomed from the time you ordered it. At least my order with SA, is just for a cartoned bass. Pull the right sku number, ship to the right address, sit down and, smoke em' if you got em'.

Yeah, unlike taking a whole month or so to get here and ship to Georgia, when you live in Rhode Island. :P

That's ridiculous. Georgia is so close to Rhode Island too! Just a tad up I-95 to ya from there.

Yeah, I think Rhode Island to Florida, or at least to St. Petersburg, is around 1500 miles. I had it mapped out a while back, but I don't remember exactly, unless I go to Google Maps. It was something like a 2 day drive, if you put in the time, but stop to rest. It's probably not a good idea to drive over 20 hours, or something like that. I suppose if you were jacked on speed or something. I wouldn't touch that stuff, though.

The latest long runs I did, were from South Palm Beach County, to Pittsburgh. That was a few years ago. Stop in NC, and then into Pittsburgh the next day.

It's usually best to get going in the early morning, like 4 AM, or around there. Maybe even earlier, if you can. You can avoid a lot of traffic that way.

Same here, it's kinda' a joke about when I say, "Let's get going, I wanna get to Jacksonville by noon." Florida is kind of a long state to get out of.

The USA Geddy Lee Jazz came in today, and went back today. There is a good size dent in the bottom of the body, from the case keys. They got knocked out of the accessory compartment, and lodged in between the bottom if the case, and the basses body. The weight of the bass on the keys left a deep ding into it.

That sucks! Yeah, definitely send that back. It must have been tossed around quite a bit, or something.

It really plays great. The Nylons agree with the pups well.

It's playing good all around. I'm really not surprised it plays as good as it does. Way to go Fender!
