Born To Be Wild by Slade. That's cool. This one perhaps?:

I found it next to Donna Vin's "Mellow Jello".

I know Raspberry Jello Fields has always been your fave. I'll bet it's up there with Jello Submarine. Incidentally, Sirius XM introduced The Beatles channel this week for fans. :D

I had some Jello yesterday, but I didn't put any vodka in it, though. :P

No,........ the version on the album started with a siren sounding, then someone yells, BORN TO BE WILD! And they go into it.
I saw The Beatles Channel advertised on TV.

I thought about doing a USA GL again, but I like the feel of the neck on the AC Jazz being a bit thinner over all.

I have to admit something. I don't know if it's because I got use to a smaller neck with the violin bass, but I'm not digging the neck on my Schecter as much anymore, and after playing around with the Squier Jazz recently, I like the Squier Jazz neck a lot more. I find myself a lot quicker with it with sliding and reaching. The Schecter's neck is a lot wider, even though it might be a little thinner (not entirely sure,) but I noticed it's a little slower for me. It's really strange how that changed like that. I use to love the Schecter over the other basses, but I've been liking the way the Squier Jazz feels a lot better. Maybe it just broke in, or something. Unfortunately, it does have a short that needs to be dealt with, but that probably shouldn't be too much of an issue to get resolved. I'm even thinking I'd probably like an actual Fender model better, if they are made better, that is. I have modified the Squier by putting on a Leo Quan Bad $@! II bridge on it, so I do have to factor that in as well. I still want to get an Epiphone Jack Casady bass, but I definitely want to keep a Jazz in the arsenal, no matter whether I'm able to ever get one or not.

For some players, the Jazz neck is hard to beat. I keep going back to them myself, and digem'. I do get around easier on a Jazz also.

Last night I picked up both the Squier and the Schecter and played the same riff and I did notice a difference. It wasn't a seriously drastic one, because the Schecter has a good action on it, but it's there. It seems like I have to stretch a bit more with the Schecter, if that makes sense.

That was the 4003's downfall for me too. The stretch felt a bit more than I preferred. My fingers are a few years older than yours are too.

A little, but to me the frets felt further apart. I was stretching more than a long scale Jazz.

That kind of reminds me of what it's like between the Squier and the Schecter.

All in all, I'm becoming more of a Fender brand fan than I previously was. There are plenty of other fine basses, and amps on the market, but I seem to gravitate back to Fender.
