An amazing week of "NGDs". 2014 Rickenbacker 330 in Walnut. Lovely satin finish all round. I lusted for one of these two years ago when they came out. Was in a very "Ricky" state of mind after getting my 360/12 back from an overdue setup. Saw this online today and had to have it.

Traded a Johnny Marr Jaguar for it at 5:30pm. May have some remorse later but these will not come up often and were a limited run. This thing howls with some overdrive and amazing cleans. Could be a real contender for my main guitar. I had a 360 6 string two years ago and never bonded with it as it has a neck like a HB pencil. This 330 is much better and is like a Fender.

Love it!!

Enjoy!

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Now that is some pretty fancy grain pattern on both the top and back on your NGD Torresfan!

Enjoy that puppy!

Congratulations on getting one beautiful guitar. I don't think you will have any remorse over that trade.

I would only feel exhilaration from buying such a spectacular axe. If anything, trading in a Johnny Marr Jaguar would make you feel reMorrissey.

Very nice! I've spent a lot of time online, looking at pics of the 330W and 360W. I really lust for a 360W. Both are beautiful guitars.

They're great. It sounds similar to a Gretsch but with a little less output. I think "hi-gains" is a bit of a misnomer as output isn't exactly huge. They wouldn't be as dirty sounding as P90s and require and little fettling with your amp settings but once done is worth the effort.

I run all my Guitars through a Boss GT100 pedal board and then into a Fender Blues Junior or Hotrod Deville. For a long time I alternated between a Fender Strat with Customer Shop Fat 50s pickups or a Johnny Marr Jaguar. The pedal board was setup for both of these guitars as they were both fitted with single coils and were similar in output. Now I'll be alternating between a Gibson ES-335 and this new Rickenbacker. The output from the Gibson is huge and I've had to dial back the gain on all the patches on all of the banks on the pedal board. The good thing is that I don't have to then make any adjustments when I plug in the Rickenbacker other than dialling back on the volume.

I love walnut and it looks great with your Rick. Any idea what it weighs? Have great times with it.
