Hi Rip, I was so interested in that guitar I've ordered one myself. I've always been a big fan of Peter Green and that guitar sounds pretty much spot on, I hope mine sounds the same.
By the way, I don't know whether you know or not but the guy's name on the video is Dave Simpson and he does a very good course on Peter Green and his style and sound technique. Youtube Dave Simpson guitar.
All the best man and thanks for the heads up on this. Cheers.

Hi Rhumba, what can go wrong at that price eh, straight out the box playable, just a few tweeks here and there, couple of high frets passed the twelfth only noticeable when I lowered bridge to "cant go any lower", got a nice woody earthy tone that rings out unplugged, playing around with tone pots like Nick suggested too, lots of variation in sounds. I seem to have gone all Paul Kossoff, Peter Green, Mick Ronson lately myself, well pleased with the guitar.
That guy Dave Simpson's vids sold it for me Rhumba, watched a few of his vids now, plus a few others, ex Bad Company guitarist plays one too, old school blues and rock Rhumba just the way I like it, hope you catch a good one mate.

Yeah Rip the price is unbelievable, it should arrive shortly I've had an e-mail saying it's been dispatched. I hope it's a good one as well, I'll let you know when it gets here, meanwhile I'm brushing up on my Fleetwood Mac songs. :D

Hi Rip, the guitar arrived and like you said, it was playable straight from the box and it sounds superb, I can't believe they go for that price they are worth way more.
Like your's mine needs a few tweeks as well. The string height at the nut is ok but needs dropping a bit at the bridge. The fret ends need smoothing off and there is a small problem with the toggle switch, it won't always stay in the neck position it flicks back to the middle. So I'll have to fix that.
All in all it's a great guitar, I'm very pleased I got one.
By the way, I have a Marshall mg amp like the one Dave Simpson demo's, so I followed his settings and it sounds incredible.
Cheers mate, :D

Hi Rhumba HNGD, glad you got a good one, wasn't expecting such a great guitar, thought I'd need to tweek here and there for something in this price range, but as long as it was a solid enough straight guitar, It could be something to swap things around in. In the end only minor tweeks for my own tastes was all it took, cracking guitar. enjoy yours mate.
btw when you mentioned thomman in one of your last threads, had a look at some LP's that pricewise are almost give away's and also getting great reviews, Harley Bentons, getting gassed up again.

Love my last LP but don't get me going on any more lol, I've got 4 now I think that's enough for the time being.
