For those who have yet to see this documentary, I have just seen a promo that History Of The Eagles is expected to air on CNN 8pm Saturday, January 23/2016.

I saw it earlier and recommend it, especially if you are a fan.

Possible coverage of the storm may or may not change that I'm guessing so give it a shot anyhow.

I watched it on Showtime Go (Show Anytime) yesterday and the
part 2 segments just blew me away - they will never replace Glenn.

It's airing on demand all weekend under 'documentaries' sections.

I know that this is redundant. But the documentary is so good it bears repeating, IMHO. I watched it on Netflix and I suspect it is still available there. It is two hours long, or possibly even longer, so I ended up watching it in a couple settings. But just a great investment in time.

If you're an Eagles fan it should be required viewing. If you're not, and I would not consider myself a huge fan, I think you will still find it interesting. I just found it interesting how they, a band came together, struggled, made it big and then the conflicts they went through. Just as an example, I never knew that they were a back up band to Linda Ronstadt or that Jackson Brown was influential in their learning to song write. Although I'm sure most Eagles fans knew this
I'm probably going to watch it again now.

Got the DVR all set, thanks for the heads-up.

J.D. Souther was a big influence too.

Just as a "heads up", "A History of the Eagles" is on Showtime this afternoon at 5 PM Central Time. So for those of us with satellite that means again at 8 PM, I think, on Showtime West.

But I'm sure that Showtime will be exploiting, whoops I mean paying tribute to, Glenn and showing it a few more times over the next week or so.

As is said, "check your local listings".
