Lots of new stuff. I like all of the guitars and the new GB Twin Reverb.

I think they'll wait until after I manage to get a Rumble 500 combo before they'll put out any new bass amps. That's what happened when I bought the Rumble 350 combo. :P

I guess the teetotaler southpaw bassists don't feel the luv this year.

Being neither, I still feel a bit *ouch* for the bass players.

There is a Bass in the Magnificent 7 series, but you'll have to wait til June. I couldn't find any specifics about it though.

This series is being released like the 10 for 15 guitars, monthly models etc...

Still pretty sparse pickins unless you want a CS model...

I'd like to see the catalogs come out/get posted this month.

Personally, I was waiting to see if they came out w/ any new pedals. Didn't happen so I'll go pick up one of the competition models.

On the other hand, if I suddenly get wealthy the "mischief maker" looks like an interesting hybrid model strat/tele.

New reading material under the "play" banner.

I know you're joking, but there is a new pedal...

However, it lacks a lot of features that similarly priced tuner pedals have, and the print on the showcase pedal being skewed doesn't bode well for quality control. At $30, perhaps, like its sister pedals that have one more output, but $70?

I did overlook that tuner  on purpose; no joke about it, not my cup of Joe. Maybe if it where a strobe....

Their were only a few things that interested me; nothing I can afford though...so maybe I'll get an airbrushed coffee cup and a top popper.

Coming right after the Andy Mooney signature Fender surf clothes.

I saw a NAMM demo on the new Elite series this morning. Has any one seen this yet?

maybe it's just me in one of my old man, "get of my lawn" moods but I didn't think they did a great job on this.. i don't think anything sounded very good at all. I don't know, I just think they could have had better demo clips of a line they are dubbing as "elite"... I thought they all sounded sort of "el-crappy".

this: (visually ok... but, the rest,, Meh..)

Can't say I am excited about this NAMM product release as a Bass Player. No real major changes for the bass, and really poor marketing efforts for the products I heard they had in the booth. There are no links or pictures to the basses on Fender's site, and only 1 article on the products from Fender. My 8th grade marketing class could have created more social media buzz, hype and exciting campaign then this! Poor Job Fender, and even poorer execution! In terms of the guitar I can see the intrigue, but was left "wanting more" in relations to the bass.
