Dammit ! A lot of musicians from my era are going away and it's just not fair ! I just found out that Dale Griffin , who was the drummer for Mott The Hoople, has passed away in his sleep at the age of 67 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. I know Mott wasn't that huge here in the states, but I bought the album " All The Young Dudes " way back in 74 or so, when it came out due to the title track, which was I believe, co-written and produced by the late David Bowie as well. R.I.P. Dale.

R.I.P. Dale

Always enjoyed Mott the Hoople! Yes... Bowie co-wrote the song.

Well with Bowie, Frey and now Griffin making 3, hopefully we won't be losing any more anytime soon.

Thanks for the Music !!

cheers!

Sadly, this list goes on; but, thankfully, so does their music.

Peace be with you, Dale

The albums "All the Young Dudes" and "Mott" (with Mick Ralphs on guitar) are highly, highly recommended, as is much (all) of the music by Mott the Hoople. RIP Buffin.
