Hi everyone,

Thought you might like to check out an awesome guitarist, Juan Pablo Ordonez, playing his Fender Strat through 4 different vintage amps.

Alas, none of the amps are Fender, however I do want to get a vintage Fender amp to add to the collection.
What model would complement these other amps well, do you think?

Cheers,

Nick

Pet peeve: When people put up a video of a demonstration (demo) and keep calling it a test. What exactly are you testing? If you are testing to see if they are guitar amplifiers, I could have saved you a lot of trouble....

But I have to say, Juan Pablo's mustache was the best part of all of the videos.

Thank you for posting those video's. A very good guitarist. Welcome to the Forum. There is a Fender amp that was used as the template by all other guitar amplifier companies for their product developement, Princton http://www.fender.com/guitar-amplifiers/vintage-pro-tube/65-princeton-reverb/2172000000.html#product-grid=&start=1

they sound great, but how much are the pedals influencing the amp? there wasn't any mention of what was bypassed or engaged during any of the clips

I noticed that about the pedals too. Would have been better with no pedals, just the amps. And the EQ had a little too much scooped mids for my liking on all of the clips, not sure it that's what was dialed in, or the result of recording the audio.
