I just got two of the new personality cards for my Deluxe Strat Plus. Sadly, I will have to wait till Saturday to use them (as it is my birthday present).

How are those personality cards working out? I've wondered about them. Do you still just have the one until your Birthday? Happy Birthday by the way!

I have a loaded Dimarzio Area 58/58/61 pick guard on the way from a x-mas $$ gift. Should arrive next week sometime and am really looking forward to try them out.

Thank you. I haven't really had a chance to use them really. I've been using the three the guard came with and they have been pretty useful so far. The "Standard" card gives you classic Strat setup. The "Blender" allows a person to use the neck and bridge pickup together as well as all three; and differing voices for both. With the "Blender," I can get that classic Eric Clapton, Blind Faith at Hyde Park tone I liove so much. The "Cutter" card allows a player remove treble and bass tones. This has been very useful for playing funk and Led Zepplin.

Here's a video of some funk I wrote using my Dlx Strat Plus and the Digitech Trio

Like I said, the guitar is pretty versitile. So much so that I when I perform, it's the only guitar I bring. I'll have more time next week to answer your question. I'm very currious how far Fender can take these cards. I'm hope that they will add some onboard effects like phaser and things like that.

There is something to be said about having too many options.

That's a pretty cool looking pedal. I'll bet it sounds great. I like Digitech stuff a lot. :)

Agreed. The only DigiTech pedal I had before Christmas 2014 was the Whammy. They have some new management there shaking things up. Since then, I bought the Polara reverb, the Hardwire Stereo Phaser (appears to be discontinued; got a good price) and now the Ventura Vibe. I'll be playing with the vibe a lot today.

I have been blown away by the RP360XP. I got it to practice with mostly, but after hearing it and using for a while, I couldn't believe how realistic it sounds. I found my own sounds and I now run directly from the RP to our PA. I am very happy with my sound and tone in general. Digitech really does seem to have it together right now.

I got an Epiphone Wildkat in a beautiful amber colour. I've left it in to be re-wired and to have a Schaller Roller bridge installed as the Bigbsy sends it out of tune as soon as you use it.

The P90s do snarl but are a little muddy which will apparently be sorted when the Guitar has its wiring fixed. Looking forward to getting it back. Apart for the tuning and wiring issues, this Guitar is beautiful to behold and very well put together. A little bigger than a Les Paul but feels really nice.
