Some news is late-breaking and some is just late like this item. I post this because I know he had at least a few fans here on the Forum.

Alan Mirikitani, aka BB Chung King, the lead guitarist and principle songwriter for BB Chung King and the Buddaheads died July 22, 2015 of a heart attack. He was a great blues rocker, Strat player and Grammy winner, yet never received the appreciation he deserved. I hadn't heard of his death until today and I still can't even find a decent obit to link here. I've linked a slow burner Blues below so please check it out.

RIP Alan.

Good Lord, that man had some licks!

What a tremendous and tragic loss.

:(

RIP

BTW, that song has the same dreamy, ethereal vibe as ZZ Top's "Fool For Your Stockings".

Coincidence?
