Anybody use one of these things? I'm thinking about getting myself one to celebrate my successful surgery.

I have one and use it occasionally. It's a great sound shaping tool. I can make my guitar sustain a note or notes forever. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to expand their tonal palette.

Never played one, but I've thought about trying and possibly getting one in the future.

I saw Bela Fleck use one on his banjo at a Strawberry Music Festival a few years back. Like that guy needs any help with his tone.

They are neat. I had a friend in college with one. If I remember correctly Chris Shifflet of the Foo Fighters uses one.

I've got one. It's a fun toy. I like the cello like sounds you can get with it.

That's because it uses Quicktime to play the clips, and your computer's browser might not have the quicktime plugin or might be lacking power to run the App. in the browser window. ...My PC freezes up for about 3 seconds when it tries to run Quicktime.

..The clips on Youtube are much better in my opinion. You should check them out.

I don't have any problems with
youtube... In fact I go there quite
a bit...

It must be that Quicktime...

Thanks for the help...

Just to update I did end up getting one, but unfortunately because of everything that has been going on with my health I can not even pick up a guitar for a few more weeks.
I am looking forward to getting back into playing and experimenting with my new toy.

Thanks Chet for the update I am sure by now you are missing your six string toys and I am just glad to hear things are getting better for you. I had a drain in me a few times before and once for 5 weeks. A real pain but they had to clear the area up and close it from the inside out so every 3 days the drain was shortend a little bit.
