Very pretty - is that a fancy suped up 335 model of some sort with all the nice neck and headstock inlays?

looks like a Sheraton to me, beautiful!

I see you installed the 'E' on the guitar case. :D

In the trivia section, or "more than you wanted to know":
The ϵ is not an E but a Greek lower case Epsilon, because the company was named after the guy who founded the company, Epiminondas "Epi" Stathopoulo, whose short signature was just an epsilon. Epiphone was also meant to be a homophone to epiphany, and not pronounced like epi-phone.
Sorry guys, I just love guitar trivia :D

sigh, tanks arth, yes I was a long time member of the Epiphone forum and know quite a bit more than that about the company. Dang I knew I should have taken the time to type an Epsilon.

edit: and for those who don't know, a Sheraton would normally have one on the pickguard. It's a flimsy little foil thing that's glued on. I removed mine too, but didn't think to stick it to my case.

indeed, it's a Sheraton Pro II.

and yea, as you guys can see, don't like the E logo on the pick guard either.

at least now-a-days they're making it a lot easier to get it off there. Epi used to emboss the logo on the pick guard, so you either had to replace it, or buff it out.

anyway, really nice player, really good stock pickups and hardware, very pleased.

I like this model in particular because it's a real Epiphone model (not a Gibson reproduction). And that's got to be one of the nicest headstocks in the biz.

how did you go about it? I hit mine with a hair dryer until the glue loosened up enough to lift it.

wasn't really stuck on there, so luckily, I was able to just pull it off with my finger tips.

thanks everyone, I really do like this one.

I am still dialing in the action tho, I do notice a high fret or two in the upper registers, eventually need to take that one down a little.

Hi KB, nice looking epi, I'd given up on my own sheraton a while back, wasn't really bonding, grainy feel to fretboard, no matter how much lemon oil applications I gave it, still felt that dried out grainy way, plus a few other niggles put me in a get rid mood. Then your thread pops up, had to have another look at it, youtubed this guy WOW, slapped a tiny drop of furniture wax on fretboard ( any other suggestions?) and just feels different guitar completely, frets still feel as though they could do with a tidy up. And when I think about it, for the price it's great looking guitar that could be a great guitar with a little tlc, enjoy your sherry, and here's the vid on youtube, had his stolen shortly after making the vid, don't know if it's bog standard or modded but sounds great.
