Yesterday I tried a baja telecaster, sound was great, but...
The knob on the selector wasn't glued to it, the knobs felt really cheap, S-1 selector felt even cheaper...
Is that normal?

I'd like to buy the guitar some day but these things make me think I'll have to spend some money to change them, and for a 1000 € guitar, well that's not what I expect!

It never is, on any Fender.

One of the things that's great about Fender guitars in general, is that if you don't like components, which seems to be the case for you, you can change them. Because they aren't glued on.

Well, I am that, but I don't think you have to be one to appreciate how easy it is to change switch knobs on a Fender :)

I've been thinking of a Telecaster lately. Keep us in the loop.
