Hi All, I'm trying to ID a Jackson Performer V I just picked up.Unlike Fender, the information about identification is scant. I think its a 96 Randy Rhoads PS3-T . The serial number is 9604407 here is a view. Any info would be helpful, Thanks.

Hi Eroot64. I haven't been able to log on the Jackson forums in awhile. Jackson has some very cool additions to their product line and I can not understand why they aren't promoting more aggressively .

They have an image problem. If you say "Jackson", people will think "Dinky". Obnoxious green or pink.

Glad that you got it sorted out. A V for free is nice.

Art, you have a point. I always think Soloist or Kelly . Dinky is a really poor choice of words to use for an electric guitar lol.

Check jcfonline.com those guys really know their Jacksons there and they have a huge serial number database.

It's a '96 like you said made in Japan.
