Cool video, FSB. It is really surprising to me learning that there was actually a working machine in the 80's. I thought they were gone long before that. Thanks for posting the video!

I'm going to the grocery store, then maybe do some work on a sprinkler head.

Going to go for a walk, then to the store.

Trying to decide if it’s limeade or hot chocolate before crashing for the night/morning.

I’m on my way to pickup my acoustic after a free setup and new strings. Fingers crossed that it’s better than stock setup, which wasn’t bad at all.

I'm going to make my way upstairs to play/practice and maybe record a track or two. 8)

I did a pretty long walk today, played on the violin bass, and now just chilling out a bit, listening to some old school jazz records.

Getting ready to participate in a live webinar presented by NeuroCare regarding this rare nerve disease that I have. I'm still hoping for something new to help relieve pain and symptoms.

Well, that sucks. Ya just never know what opportunities you’ll run across today, though, Marky. It’s always worth the trying. I managed to discover an alternative off the shelf medication that actually worked for a deficiency I had that was getting worse and it was about to cause a hard to get expensive shot in the arm for life every month. I managed to get a months extension for a trial test. Thanks, to Japanese research I now take a daily lingual pill that actually works where others did nothing and, when needed, a more expensive different formula glucosamine where the typical stuff, as some will agree, did nothing. I know, as one who never took so much as an aspirin, knowing what others have said and experienced, and my scepticism, even if it’s mind over matter, that choice worked for me, even with a bone specialist when I could hardly get out of bed. I don’t even need it daily now.

No endorsements, but I believe the data for a lot of discovered medical solutions and those yet to be confirmed is available. The problem is local medical providers do not always have access, or time to cover it all. A little luck is involved. I’m thankful I helped my doctor and saved money at the same time. Although, sometimes you have to spend more for positive results.

Word of caution, you have to know where to seek the information for a trustworthy proven source. I use Mayo, John Hopkins, and others with a reputation and history most times. Location is a clue too. I go to websites where the area has major research and care for the situation. I don’t use these, but I could: Florida for geriatrics, California for diets and plastic surgery. Minnesota and Manitoba for snowshoe injuries. I also use what I’ve learned or am familiar with over time, and I don’t give up easy; but I’m not into crystals and hocus pocus. As Dragnet said, “Just the facts. Just the facts, Ma’am’”.

Keep kickin’ that can, Marky. Hopefully, you’ll score a big goal. :D

I’m leary of those fad diets. I went on that pineapple diet in the 70s. I lost weight, ran into trouble, and haven’t eaten papaya since. Loved the Soya cheese and Soya milk, and after finding soya where we needn’t have it, I found fermented Soya (some sauces for example), and non GMO soya is the better product. You can look it up to be brief. Thyroid is not my friend now, and I no longer use the products I enjoyed. Next thing you know, they’ll be making guitars out of corn husks and staining them with soya.

Thank you, my friend, for your kind and encouraging sharing of your experiences. I believe in mind over matter too. I have practiced meditation for many years and I think it helps with my pain a little. Mostly, it helps me feel at peace so that I am better able to live with my limitations.
There are forty Centers of Excellence listed for my disease in the USA and I am blessed that one of them is in Phoenix and I was accepted as a patient there about ten years ago. This disease is considered treatable but, unfortunately for me, I was misdiagnosed for well over ten years and, by the time I was correctly diagnosed, the treatments were largely ineffective.

My pleasure, Marky. Good to hear that you have good support.

Misdiagnosis is often a possibility. It’s no stranger in this house. Fortunately, if it hadn’t been the case on one occasion, I would have undergone major considerations, and I wouldn’t be here to mention it. :P
Best,
FSB

I'm waiting until dawn, then I'm going for a morning walk. It's been awhile since I've I done this, since I've been typically on nights. I try to do that whenever I can, even though it's not always practically because of the music business.

Sorry to hear about your issues, Marky. :( I hope you'll find something that can help you with that.

Feeling sorry for the English soccer fans. Hey! Cheer up mates. They played great throughout. It was just well deserved Croatia’s time.

Going to get an LED light bulb for my office lamp, since it picked an inopportune time to burn out, in the late night. At least there's a 24 hours CVS around.
