does the wiring diagram show like a tone control with the 3 way switch (like a esquire) and the so called tone pot is used like a balance pot between the neck and bridge pickup?
i dont get using a .050 cap and a 15K resistor?
whats it sound like using like modern wiring? or can i?

Thank's but this is the layout , good to show how to do the wiring .
To understand how circuit work we need the schematic . There not many guitar schematic , all layout

In spare time I will convert layout in schematic to give you an answer

k, this is the standard tele diagram
http://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/Origi ... A_SISD.pdf
probably what i have!
i understand the resistor now sorta like a esquire or a gretsch with the tone switches.
i dont understand the .050 (.047) cap?
i personally dont like the "blend pot" i would rather have a "tone control/pot".
any videos i see are either like the nocaster wiring or they dont say how they wired it.
if i drop these pups into a standard wired tele.,
should i use a .047 cap in place of what i probably have a .022 cap.?
and what would be the tonal difference if ya know? brighter, scooped midrange, more bass...what, using the 250K pots?

forget this!
its sorta neat but not my cup-o-tea. (to much like them gretsch tone circuits)
standard wiring with a treble bleed/boost and custom shop 51 nocaster pickups really blow my socks off.
nothing like a real 50's sounding tele twang!
i found the love of my life now! LOL

oh ya! if you look at the fenders wiring diagram they give you with the nocaster pickups they don't clearly show the jump wire.
there are some BROADCASTER diagrams that work the same way floating around on the web but, show the wiring slightly differently with the same results!
(you could try this with any pick ups just for a experiment).
