Browsing through reverb.com, as i usually do when bored, and saw this loaded pick guard.

Anyone know whats going on above the first tone pot? btw check out reverb.com, fun to look at.

That's a Squier Bullet pickguard, and some sort of PCB board it's been added.

Impossible to tell what use that might have.

I agree with Kojak there in that it looks like a lower end Squier pickguard (the pots and pickups kind of give it away). To me the circuit board there looks very much along the lines of a "Mod board" such as those available from Guitar Fetish. I've seen a few items like this over the years...usually offered as an "on board effects pedal". GF has models that range from distortions to chorus and delay and such. No clue how they sound, but it's certainly an interesting concept.
