I don't know if one can order still Fender US instruments w/gold hardware without going custom shop. Well, nowadays one can even build his own Fender (Strat, Tele, J or P-Bass) from genuine Fender replacement parts. Why can't Fender make an "American Standard" Fender (logoed) neckplate??? I might be the minority liking gold hardware. We get gold pickguard screws or even gold string ferrules but not a proper neckplate???

They do offer many guitars with gold hardware.

As far as gold parts, including neck plates, there are plenty available on eBay and many retailers. You would have to actually look around though.

I was talking about a goldplated version of this:

http://www.fender.com/guitar-bass-parts ... mp-chrome/

What is so hard for Fender to sell a gold version of this (with Fender logo or even just an "F"). This neck plate (with neck tilt adjustment hole) isn't even found on ebay.

Might be that you don't care about that at all...

If Fender doesn't make a model with the plate that you want, they probably won't offer one for sale. Maybe your only option would be to have one gold-plated.

The OP wants one that doesn't exist, with Fender logo, or F, and the hole for the tilt adjust.
