I've completed the wiring and am mostly satisfied . . . but I can't get the middle pickup to operate independent of the bridge and neck p-ups. I want to be able to turn the middle pick-up and down by itself. I have to have the B/N pot up before middle p-up works. Capice?
wiring is viewable here: http://tonefiend.com/pickups/nashville- ... n-a-strat/, then link " this wiring diagram" to view what I have done.

I'm not a english speaking .

I understand the wiring you follow " this wiring diagram " must do what you want with your pickups ? Or you are not sure ?

If it is the right wiring , check you job , do you use the right switch ?

You write ;
" I want to be able to turn the middle pick-up and down by itself. "

Did you talk about volume pot or selector switch ?

The middle pickup does not go throught the 3 way switch. It goes directly to it's own vol. pot. I think the issue has something to do with where to ground the middle p-up. I'll check my work again . . .

On the diagram , all pickups goes to the 5 ways switch

Why do you talk about a 3 ways switch ???

And why don't you show the link to the right diagram ?

You cannot get what you want with the diagram you used. The middle pickup does not go through the switch, so it "on" in all positions of the switch, it's effect is only controlled by the middle pickup volume. To get what you want is very simple, install a on/off switch on the wire that goes from the selector switch to the main volume. You could use a mini toggle or a push/pull pot on the main volume. When you flip switch it will cut off the neck and bridge pickups and just leave the middle. Does this make sense?
