hi there,
I would personally go for a set of scn's because of the beautiful tone and clear ring of them.

There are so many great pickups out there, in my experience the Fender Custom Shop pickups are really great, the Texas Specials sound great for blues, SD has many good ones too, my favorite is their Twang Banger (bridge) with a couple of Alnico-Pro IIs, great bluesy sound unlike any other strat pickup I've heard. Another option I have in one of my MiM HSS strats is Rio Grande, very SRV type tone out of that, turned a $300 MiM into a very formidable instrument.
