Could you please help me? A couple of days ago, I ordered a set of Dimarzio Area 67s to replace my Fat 50s. A couple of days later, I researched whether I made the right choice or not, and I saw on eBay those set of pickups I ordered were enlisted as "left-handed" pickups. Naturally, if you do not know this, I'm a lefty, and the pickups I ordered in the shop weren't enlisted as lefties, so I assume I ordered righties at the shop. Is it possible to put righty pickups on a lefty guitar (in my case a strat) or have I made en error in ordering an should re-order?

Re order , won't fit ;

1- Pole pieces height wrong side for you

2- You can't reverse it because wires

Technically, this is correct.

However, having pickups with reverse-pole stagger *might* yield some interesting (perhaps even pleasant) sonic results.

I was about five meters away from the stage at the Monterey Pop Festival on the night Jimi lit the place on fire......quite an impression on the psyche of a 15 Y/O kid.

I play right hand. One day, after finishing a mod on me Strat, I unknowingly put the middle pickup in with the staggers in the opposite direction. When I switched to the Neck/Mid position, I noticed a difference in sound immediately. The chime was focused, and more pronounced. That is just MHO, but I noticed and liked the results. Since then I've been putting my middle pickup in with the staggers reversed.
