Yes.

DCR measurements notwithstanding, how do they sound?

Arjay

+1 DC resistance is only one of many thing for pickup sound .

I just talk about the 300 ohms because dave d is bothered by that

i have 57/62 pups and they are seven years old, they are 5.7 to 5.9 even as old and used as they are. they sound great. i use an old .1uf ceramic cap from around the late 60's(took it out of an old radio from that time. still was in tolerance). when you hook them up just be sure to keep the wires the same length and as short as possible. don't beat me up, it DOES make a difference. if your after the shadows sound you'll need a vox ac15 too. (and Hank's right hand).

If all three measured 5.9K, I doubt you will find replacement new ones that measure 5.6K.

+1

It seems that published design specs of late have drifted a bit from what Fender is actually manufacturing.

Since how many months or year they are at 5.9K ?

Or it is the only one ? And new one will read 5.6K ?

Anyway if it is for Hank Marvin sound , it is a time waste, these pickups

He insist on 57/62 pickups ! Put them , forget the 300 ohms

The original pickups built between 1957 and 1964 may have different reading .

How read original Hank Marvin pickups ? Nobody knows . Or 5.6K ???

You could also try the new Pure Vintage 56 PUs or the limited 60th Anniversary Fender 54 PUs if you are looking for a nice vintage strat sound, they sound great.

+1 the new pure vintage 56' pickups sound really great I had a custom shop 56' before, then just picked up a new American vintage series 56' strat, and these are much better IMHO.Fender sells these sets separately now.
