I'm currently in the process of looking for a replacement bridge pickup for my AmDlx strat (3-colour SB, mint green pg with aged parts) but Seymour Duncan don't make aged white pickups (except for the Antiquity models which are heavily relic'd) and Dimarzio's aged white is more akin to Fender's parchment parts. I want something hot but am not a fan of the Hot Noiseless pups. My ideal pickups are the following -

*Bare Knuckle Trilogy Suite
*Dimarzio Virtual Solo
*Dimarzio Injector
*Seymour Duncan SSL-3
*Seymour Duncan SSL-6

I could change the SD covers if I went for one of their SSL line but I've heard a number of people say that the Fender covers don't always fit. Plus I really want another noiseless type pickup as I love that quality of the SCN but again Fender covers won't fit stacked pups.

I'm not a massive fan of Fender's current line of pickups so if anyone could recommend any that would match my criteria (based on the list above) as well as matching Fender's aged white that would be fantastic.

Thanks

Where ever you order the pickup from, just flat out ask them if it will fit your Fender pickup cover, seems easy enough.

fwiw, I put a new, white fender pickup cover on a SSL-6 and it fit fine. To match the other two naturally-aged pickup covers, I did the aging myself after brewing a rich up of coffee.

Cheers.

Yeah I went the coffee route and achieved nearly the exact same colour as the fender aged white by using two heaped teaspoons of coffee in a mug mixed with one tea bag and a couple of drops of yellow food colouring to give it a slight "nicotine" shade!
