Fender is cooking some cool Custom Shop Stratocasters with their brand-new Fat '60s single coils for 2014.

Never saw those pickups before but from what I see they're supposed to be hotter variants of an early-to-mid '60s Strat pickup.

There's no video showing these new babies in action yet.

There doesn't seem to be any documentation to support your assertion, at least not yet.

The Fat 60s in the neck and middle can blend a hot bridge humbucker nicely :mrgreen:

Unfortunately none of the 2014 Strats come with an HSS configuration.
