It doesn't get much better than that.

No, it really doesn't, does it?

I went through a ton of speakers old and new, this one has the best balance of classic Fender non piercing cleans and OD.

You're preaching to the choir.

Only the faithful among the congregation seem to hear the song though......

:(

So Fender got back to me...
JC does definitly stand for John Cruz and not Josefina Campos!

They PUs in my guitar are the same ase the LTD/Master Design with the difference being that they were hand-wound instead of machine-wound (in this case by Josefina Campos) and no metal shielding around the coils.
The give away seems to be black cloth around the wire, which mine do have.

John Cruz himself confirmed this.

Have you had the opportunity to field-test the guitar in a live stage environment yet?

No, not yet. I have a show about 10 days from now, where I plan to use it.

I'd be interested in a post-show report to learn how the instrument performs.

So I finally had a chance to use the guitar live and I am really satisified with the sounds I got.
These PUs are really great, very fat and still very touch-sensitive and chimey.
Don't know how they do that with a over 7k wind....

The quality of your amp likely has *a lot* to do with it.

Nice!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a Pickup snob, so I don't care much for who winds them, but the ones you have do sound good.
