Hello, this is my first question here in the forum so be gentle. I am replacing the neck pickup in my Tele Acoustasonic from the stock twisted tele pickup to a scn3 noiseless. The wire color on the twisted pickup is white, yellow, and black. On the scn3 its black, green, and red. If i follow the wiring diagram that was sent with the pickup it is backwards from the way it was originally wired. On the twisted the ground im assuming is yellow and green on the scn3. The Twisted had the yellow and black soldered to the volume pot and the white soldered into a white jumper wire going to a selector. So do I solder the Red wire to the white jumper wire and the black and green to the volume pot or black to white jumper wire and red and green to the volume pot. I think by logical deduction I will go with the pickup wiring diagram supplied by fender(which calls for black and green to the volume pot) A wiring diagram for the Tele Acoustasonic sure would help though. Any info/help is much appreciated.

On the SCN: Black and green get soldered to ground (back of volume pot). Red is hot and gets soldered to the pickup selector.

Be prepared. The tone of an SCN is nothing like a Twisted Tele.

Yea, I love the Twisted pickup but its way too noisy at some of the venues I play. I have one in my Baja tele as well which will be changed soon also. On the Acoustasonic Tele the wiring is a little different. They had the yellow and black of the twisted pickup soldered to the pot and a white jumper to the white of the pickup soldered to side of the pot beside the capacitor. THe problem I'm having now is one of the black wires that was soldered on the other side of the pot has broken loose while i was soldering the black and green of the N3 pickup. I cant find a place It would go I traced the other black wire that it is soldered with it and it runs to ground on the Piezo board but the other one I dont know. Im figuring it just jumpers over to the other pot or selector. Does anyone know where I can get a Schematic for this guitar?
