Hello Humble baby,

I have vintage noiseless in my strat,
I like them. Keep in mind there are plenty
of other options out there. Listen to many
then make your choice.

Cheers.

I like the good old 57/62 pickups (though they aren't noiseless). They give a fine vintage tone in my ears. Of course, a lot depends on whichever amp you're using as well...

I installed some 57/62s in my Squire Strat and WOW ! So I recommend these pickups for a serious vintage sound. And I play through a 1968 Pro Reverb. :D :D And sometimes a 10 watt Marshall practice amp that my son has.

I've never replaced any pickups and any of my guitars (otherwise I wouldn't of bought them, I buy guitar for the tone it originally has), but I'd guess maybe Seymour Duncan Strat-designed pickups or Gibson P-90s.

57/62s are awsome pickups .
but i find the pickups in the highway ones (upgraded 2006-2007s)
to even be better-why? because they sound what ever you want.
from classic warm tones to ear bleeding tones and everything in between.
the highway one single coils with the alnico 3 mags do it all and some.

I got the phat vintage tone I need from my Strat, when I installed a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. in the neck position. It gives me tons of SRV like tones that were'nt there before the mod. I also installed a micro toggle
switch in the pick gaurd (not recomended, looses value) that switches between single or double. I almost never use the double setting as this fattens the signal but kills the sweet tone. Changing pups is not a sure fire way of sweetening your tone. Every guitar reacts differently to any mod.
Although its a given that modifying an original guitar lowers its value, it does'nt matter in my case because it makes the tones I've searched for and I will never sell it anyway.
