Hi guy's

i'm new here and it's my first post, i'm from Quebec/Canada, so be easy with my english please :P

my first question is : my drummer gave me a pick up set, they have no number at the back, only handwriting ( a date of making actually ), a Fender Custom Shop sticker, i want to know wich model is it, they gave me 5.7 on my multimeter ( i think they CS 50's pickup but not sure yet ), i want buy an other set to put on my other strat because they sound just amazing,

Image

when i took these pick up off the old scrap guitar, the bridge and neck one was dead ( they gave me no signal on the multimeter ) so i took the middle one and put it in the bridge instead of the high output Fender Enforcer HB, and it works and sound awsome

so my second question is: what exactly the difference between bridge/middle/neck pickup of the same series exept le lenght of the wire, i've read somewhere they give different output range from 5.7 to 6.3, but is it a difference big enough to hear it ?

thank for your help :D

Peace!
-CBH

They could be Custom Shop '69s which I think are supposed to have a resistance of 5.8 and grey backs. I can't check mine at the moment as I'm not at home, but I think mine are initialed by Abby like yours.

They are Custom Shop 69's. They are all the same so position does not matter.

yup CS 69's. Got a set in my CP 60's series. Nice sounding pu's. Bset way to install is put the longest wire in the bridge position, etc. etc., other than that output is identical.
