Can anyone do anything about this guy? He keeps selling fake Abby pickups.

You have to complain to Ebay. You have to prove to Ebay that he is selling counterfeit parts.

I've seen this guy selling some unique pickguard assemblies, but I've never gotten the idea that the Abby pickups were fake. What is it that tips you off to them being fake?

Yeah, I was hoping to get his attention this time and maybe get some insight from him. I make it a point to watch all Abby's that show up on eBay, and the fakes don't really show up very often. Lately there have been only two that I thought were obvious, and both were single pickup auctions just a few weeks apart. And I'm sure it was the same pickup being listed twice. But the seller he mentioned above deals in loaded pickguards exclusively. And while some of the wiring seen would occasionally make me scratch my head, I had no way of knowing that it wasn't wired by Fender. It just wasn't typical vintage wiring like we normally see. But the pickups have always looked genuine to me. The auction listed above does have one interesting feature in that the middle pickup has all the poles (undersides) inked black for some reason. It's not the first time I've seen the back ink, but typically you just see the one pole inked red or blue to indicate the bridge or neck pickup. So that might make it questionable, but all the other characteristics indicate a real Abby hand wound Fender pickup. There's nothing there that would tell me that it's a fake anyway.
