Gentleman,
Not sure where I would go so I figure maybe here anyway question does anyone know if the JBL K 120 basket is interchangeable with the JBL d120. Point being I have a JBL D with a cracked basket that can not be repair?? Any help or direction would be nice. If this is not the right place sorry.

The baskets and the magnet structures are identical save for the configuration of the voice-coil vent on the rear of the shield (beneath the foil-cal label). Cone and coil parts are also interchangable between equivalent D-, E-, and K-series drivers.

"Rebuild" it......?

There's nothing left to rebuild!

Don't be a chump -- that thing is toast.

Try to collect if it was shipped insured.

Then find some other "lost cause" that isn't quite so lost.

I understand but I think if I can find a basket which I have a line on one now for the right price and cone kit. I have removed all the damage and mag and rear case and all is perfect I think it can be done it might be a 6 million dollar speaker like the 6million dollar man. As far as USPS standing behind the damage I stand a better chance of growing wings. I will let you know how this mess turns out.\
thanks Arjay
