Hi All...
Long-time listener, first-time caller...

I've searched the forum and web looking for a guide to Fender pup specs that tells me more than just DC resistance and inductance.
I'd like to know more detailed specs like winding details & polarity of the different models (particularly CS).

This information would be helpful when "mixing & matching" compatible pickup combinations outside of matched sets. "Other" manufacturers provide this info.

It seems the questions are asked regularly of Mike & Brad, and having a single source compiled would save them a lot of mucking around answering the same questions over & over. Does such a list or chart exist?

I hope this hasn't been covered so obviously that I have to put on my arse-hat, but I feel I've done a reasonably comprehensive search. However, that hat fits pretty good these days!
Any (positive) advice welcomed.

Thanks

BTW: Forgive me for my 1st post here being a whinge!

Doesn't exist. I'm sure much of that info is proprietary.

I can appreciate keeping SOME details proprietary, but seriously, CW, CCW, North, South is hardly going to jeopardise the FMIC's future in the pickup market.

IMO, it would certainly go a long way to customer relations.
I mean, how many questions are there on here about simple polarity and compatibility from regular folk wanting to change up their pickup combinations?
That's all I'm saying...

I'd be willing to bet a lot of the 38 people that were attracted to this post (after seeing topic line) were hoping to find exactly what I was asking for.
Instead they got the same question they were asking.

Try this it may help. Fender may still wind based on past history.

Thanks SNick.

I've stumbled on to that page before.
It's a good start. Shame there isn't something for the contemporary models.

Cheers
