Hey Guys,
Can anyone help me out with a wiring diagram or suggestions as how to wire up 2 x seymour duncan hot rails in my American Deluxe Telecaster.
I would like to utilize the S1 switch (on the volume pot) as a coil splitter for the new hot rails? Is this possible?
i have just recently went from playing a lot of country to playing in a 4 piece pub rock band and would like to grunt up my Tele but also have the option of coil splitting the hotrails back to single coils.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks...

Yep, that's totally do-able! :D

I'll post a diagram here for you. Should be ready in the next couple of days.

Hi Andy,
Dont suppose you have had a chance to do a wiring diagram as yet?
I'm looking at installing these this week and would really appreciate your help!

Cheers...
Grant.

Hi Grant!

So sorry I haven't got back to you on this. Andy-land is a complicated place at the moment and I'm struggling to find time for the forum.

I'll 100% guarantee to have a diagram here for you by tomorrow night!

Apologies, again.

Andy

Got a couple of issues...
The neck pickup mounting holes do not have any thread for the screws to attach the pickup to the pickguard let alone to adjust the height .
Are these designed to be mounted into the timber with the self tapping screws rather than the pickguard?
All that said if you have to mount the p/u into the timber underneath, there is no way to adjust the height as the head of the screw will only go as far as the pickguard will let it?

My next issue is, the bridge pick up is squeeling (feedback) really bad when gain is up.
(i havent even got strings on yet)!
The feedback reduces when you hold the pickup (its like by holding the p/u reduces any minute vibrations).
i have heard that because the bridge plate only has rear screws, the front of the bridge plate can produce minute vibrations.

Any advise would be awesome!

Cheers...

On a Tele Deluxe with 2 twin rails The normal up position would be H1, H1&H2, H2 alone. With the S1 depressed, any way to get H1a alone, H1b alone, H2a alone, H2b alone, H1a&H2a, H1a&H2b, H1b&H2a and H1a &H2b? Thanks, Craig
