I'm looking into changing the volume pot in one of my other guitars. it is only responsive from about 3 - 10, below level 3 it just cuts out? so I can't roll back the volume like I can with my Strat. the pot in the strat is very responsive. Thank you in advance, if anyone can answer this question.

CTS 250 as a rule and they sound best.

CTS 500 for higher volume and metal type, but less sustain.

I have trouble now from odering and getting some mini pots as authentic Fender replacements for 2008 62 re issue. All mine have CTS pots.
